Charles John Connolly

"Charlie" was from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, passed away on February 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Jeanette Alice (nee Kenny). Father of Charles (Christine), Albert (Kathleen), Angela Coyle, Shamus (Rachel), and Sean (Meghan). Proud Grandfather of 13 & 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Michael Howard

 Michael was a Kind Warm-Hearted and Loving Man Who Would Give You The Shirt Off His Back Expecting Nothing In Return. He Will Be Missed Dearly By His Wife, Children, Grandchildren, Family and Friends. He passed away on the evening of November 5, 2020. Michael was a Proud Member of Local 157 for 19.5 Years.

Fergus Mullany

 Fergus was a loving family man happiest being around family and friends. He loved doing impersonations, making people laugh and telling stories. He will be dearly  missed by his wife Joanne and two sons. Fergus retired after 28 years a proud N.Y.C. Carpenter, Local 157.

Julio “Jay” Rosaly Jr.

 Julio “Jay” Rosaly Jr., 48, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away on December 14, 2020. Jay was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 26,1972 to his loving parents Julio and Diana Rosaly. Jay is the beloved husband of nine years to his wife Valerie, and father to his adoring son Derek.

John Hume, of Hicksville, New York, (born in Brooklyn) passed away December 9, 2020.  He was a kind-hearted soul who loved his family. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.

Noel joined Local 257 and was a member since 1963. He was a man of many talents including: Carpentry, Automotive Mechanics, Plumbing and Electrical work. In his spare time, he liked to go to Home Depot, Lowes and the Habitat for Humanity Restore for his projects. He liked history, current events and stayed abreast of national and world politics. Chetram Hardial (Terry) passed away on April 26th.  2021. Terry lived in Queens, New York. He was a skilled contractor for many years, including renovating stores on Wall Street after 9/11.

To his parents Ivy and Charlson, wife Ann, 6 children, 5 siblings and friends: he was a very hardworking man & love dancing to Indian music. Terry always went out of his way to help others.

 Rocco Valluzzi, 59, of Hazlet, New

Jersey passed suddenly away at

home on Wednesday, December 4,

2024. Rocco was born in Matera,

Italy on September 13, 1965. Rocco was a retired and dedicated

Union Carpenter for Local 157, New York City, where he worked

for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Susanne and son Vincint.

Patrick McKenna

Patrick (Pat) McKenna passed away on 4 February 2025 aged 92. He was originally from County Monaghan, Ireland and went to New York in 1958 when he joined Local Union 608 (now Local Union 157). His final job in the 1990’s was at Century 21.  He was a proud carpenter and a proud union man. He will be dearly missed by his immediate family as well as his UBC family. May he Rest In Peace.
